More Bumps in the Road

Our Adoption process is on hold until further notice.   I do not have a timeline or any information to give at this point.  Sorry so vague, we have come into some complications that we would rather not discuss.  I will update again when I have significant information to provide to you, thanks.

Thanks for reading..

  2. All in God's timing, right Karin. We will be sure to keep this all in prayer, and may God give you and Justin peace throughout the whole process. We love you both very much!

  3. Sorry for the frustration...keep the faith. In the mean time, when/if you need someone to yell at, cry to or use as a punching bag just tell me where and when.

  4. Ugh... that has to be frustrating to no end. Just keep your head high, and know that when the time is right it will happen:)

  7. Anonymous, who are you and why do you ask?

  8. Anonymous- Not a very good agency, let's just say that. Some people may be knowledgeable and educated In their line of work, but it doesn't mean they should be doing that particular job. It takes a kind, compassionate person to do that job, and that is EXTREMELY lacking in this agency.

  9. I am actually someone who is also trying to adopt from Poland myself....

I only asked about the name of the agency so others can be warned about the services of this agency – let’s be honest there are not too many of them out there that deal with Polish adoptions (I don’t think there is more than 5-6 in US).

I was very surprised (even shocked!) that something would come up so late in the game - and AFTER you received approval from immigration - obviously someone didn't do their job!

My heart goes to you, because I know that it takes so much to even decide to adopt in the first place, and in addition international adoption is an animal by itself…. All the chasing of the documents and re-doing them because someone "forgot" to mention something – you have any right to be frustrated….

This is so unfair that not only we have to deal with infertility, but also with such bureaucracy when trying to adopt…

Who checks references/health/background check and everything else on biological parents?

Remember what doesn't kill you makes you stronger.. and you may not see it at the moment, but there is always plan B :-)
